Nov 1, Kathmandu-Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba arrived in Glasgow on Monday and Tuesday (November 1 and 2) to lead a Nepali delegation to attend the 26th World Leaders Summit under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-26).
He is scheduled to address the opening ceremony of the conference on Monday afternoon in local time. He will also meet with various prominent people.
During the visit, he will hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, on Tuesday morning. On the same day, he will hold talks with the President of Sri Lanka and also hold sideline meetings with officials of the World Bank, IMO, and UK MOD.
Prime Minister Deuba, who arrived in London on Friday night from Nepal to attend the conference, met with officials from various organizations in London on Saturday and Sunday and attended various events.
Prime Minister Deuba arrived in Glasgow on Sunday night from London via Edinburgh, Scotland. Launched in Glasgow on October 31 and COP-26 will run until November 12.
