Chief Minister Acharya's Resignation Accepted

November 1, Kathmandu - The resignation of Chief Minister of province 1 Bhim Prasad Acharya  has been accepted. Province Chief Somnath Adhikari Pyasi has accepted Acharya's resignation.

Acharya, who was appointed as the Chief Minister on August 26, had announced his resignation in the province assembly today as there was no possibility of getting a vote of confidence from the province assembly. Accepting the resignation of the Chief Minister of Province 1, Bhim Acharya, the Chief Minister has called on the parties to submit their demand for the formation of a new government by 1 pm tomorrow.

According to Bimal Poudel, information officer at the province chief's office, the state chief called for the formation of a new government as soon as he accepted Acharya's resignation.
