Nov 20, Kathmandu- Bir Hospital has launched digital service in ticket distribution of patients. Since Friday, the hospital has expanded its service to enable online ticketing through a mobile application.

For this service, patients will be able to go to the mobile Play Store, download the 'Bir Hospital' application, buy tickets from the app and spend time with the doctor they need.

A member of the committee formed for the creation of the app, Dr Anupama Karki claimed that with the development of this technology, patients would be relieved from the hassle of waiting in line for hours.

With this technology, patients will now go to the hospital only to see a doctor directly. This technology is currently only applied to OPD services. As it is a trial period, it has been implemented only in OPD and the hospital is preparing to gradually develop this technology in all services.

The hospital has already provided the facility to get the report online.
