Nepal Bar Association has chosen Amicus Curiae to hear the writ petition against the dissolution of Parliament

January1, Kathmandu-The Nepal Bar Association has chosen Amicus Curiae to hear the writ petition filed against the government for dissolving the parliament in an unconstitutional manner.

Bar has selected three senior lawyers. The bar on Thursday selected senior advocates Badri Bahadur Karki, Satish Krishna Kharel and Vijay Kant Mainali. Today, Bar is informing the Supreme Court about the official selection.

A 10-day constitutional bench headed by Chief Justice Cholendra Rana had sought amicus curiae from the Nepal Bar and two senior advocates from the Supreme Court Bar Association in a writ petition against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
