Nov 30,  Kathmandu- Nepal Bar Association has demanded immediate amendment of the rules of district, high and special courts. The demand was made at a meeting of the working committee of the bar held on Tuesday.

The Supreme Court has written a letter to the district, high and special courts on August 1 stating that the case will be heard through the ballot system from 17 November , 2021 A.D.

Bar has asked the full court to implement the pre-commitment. The bar has stated that they will hold one hour daily sit-in in the district, high and special courts until the regulations of the district, high and special courts are amended.

Similarly, Bar has demanded that Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra should not be allowed to participate in the voting system that will be implemented in the Supreme Court from Wednesday. Bar has urged the judges not to sit in the bench of Chief Justice Jabra.
