Dec23, Kathmandu-India-Dealers, and Distributors Expo 2021 have been completed today. A three-day expo(21to23 December) was organized with help of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) AND Star Exhibitions in associations with the Embassy of Indian Nepal along with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Department of Commerce. The event was held at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu.
The exhibition aimed was to promote Brand India enhancing bilateral trade and investment by creating awareness of the business opportunities available on both sides. The show had also facilitated joint ventures technology transfer marketing arrangements as well as people-to-people contacts between two countries.
Chargés d'Affaires at the Embassy of India Ms. Namgya C Khampa inaugurated the Exhibition Tuesday and interacted with Indian and Nepali companies participating in it. She also encouraged the organizers to explore B2B partnerships with Nepali entrepreneurs in order to strengthen commercial linkages between the two countries.
Around 50 Indian companies had taken part in a three-day business exhibition in Nepal, which aimed was only to promote Brand India and enhance bilateral trade and investment by creating awareness about trade opportunities available on both sides. They also represented multiple sectors were showcasing their products and services at the exhibition, which was also witnessed participation from Nepali businesses and traders.
Deputy Director of CII Chandra Awasthi and Sanjay Mishra was said they will expand their expo to overall major cities of Nepal. They are satisfied through this expo and their consumers of Nepal. They want to enhance their business relationship with Nepali consumers, as well as relationships between neighboring countries of Nepal.
The exhibition also aims to facilitate joint ventures, technology transfer, marketing arrangements as well as people-to-people contacts between the two countries, it said.
