The department has stated that the campaign is about to start as the biggest problem is seen in Province No. 2. Director-General of the department Oli said, "It is not possible to start all the districts at once. Where there are more problems, we are working on them as a first priority. Before coming to the consular department, all the documents are prepared by the local level".

Ward office, municipality and, if necessary, district administration office are also required. The department has started from the local level saying that there will be problems when the department arrives after passing various stages. The local level can fill in the details in the server prepared by the department. The details can be viewed by the department.

The department has stated that services have been provided from the local level to solve the problems of Nepalese living abroad in various professions and occupations including study and labor. Earlier, all the work related to consular services in Kathmandu was done only by the Department of Consular Services.
