Kathmandu Received 10.7 mm Of Rain Today

Dec 29, Kathmandu - It has been raining all over the country since the western low-pressure system became active. Snow has fallen not only in the high hills and mountains but also in the hills of Kathmandu. Kathmandu received 10.7 mm of rain on Wednesday morning, according to the Weather Forecast Division. There was no rain in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Kirtipur received 11.4 mm of rainfall. It is still raining in Kathmandu. According to the latest details of the Division, 12 mm of rain has fallen in Dipalaya, 12.2 mm in Dadeldhura and 2 mm in Dhangadhi. Similarly, 5 mm of rain has been measured in Birendranagar of Surkhet, 2 mm in Nepalgunj, 2.6 mm in Jumla and 0.6 mm in Ghorahi.

Pokhara received 6.5 mm of rain, Bhairahawa 12.6 mm, Simara 13 mm, Okhaldhunga 3 mm and Taplejung 12.3 mm. Dhankuta and Janakpur received 2.8 and 1.5 mm of rain respectively but no rain has been measured in Biratnagar. The weather is expected to improve only from Thursday.
