Jan 9, Kathmandu -Currently, the country is under the influence of the western low-pressure system. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a partial effect in Province No. 1 and Lumbini province and there will be normal to full changes in the rest of the province.

On Sunday, there will be a normal change in Far-Western and Karnali states and there will be partial to normal change in other Province. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some places of Far Western Province, Karnali Province and Lumbini Province and light rain with thunderstorms in one or two places of the rest of the province. Light to moderate snowfall is also expected in many parts of the high hills and mountains.

On Monday, there will be a normal change in Far-Western and Karnali states and there will be partial to normal change in other Provinces. Light rain with thunderstorms is expected in some places of Far Western Province, Karnali Province and Lumbini Province and one or two places in other provinces. Light to moderate snowfall is expected in some parts of the high hills and mountains. Similarly, there will be partial cloud cover across the country on Tuesday. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places of Far Western Province and Province 1 and light to moderate snowfall in one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous terrain of the province.
