Jan10, Kathmandu -The Ministry of Education is going to discuss about closing the school today

The Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMCC) had recommended closing the school till January 29 as the Corona infection was on the rise. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Education Deepak Sharma informed that a decision will be taken today.

He said the decision to close the school would be made to match the winter holidays. Winter vacation has already started in some schools. Examinations are being conducted in some schools and colleges. Schools undergoing examinations have been asked to adopt health standards. The CCMCC meeting also recommended the Ministry of Home Affairs made it mandatory to show vaccination cards when visiting cinemas, parks and public places which are more crowded.

The meeting has called upon the political parties not to organize any crowded gathering and function and not to hold any program including festivals.
