Jan 12, Kathmandu- TikTok was known in China as a Douyin Chinese app for video-focused social networking owned by Chinese company Bytedance.It hosts a variety of short-form user videos, from genres like pranks, stunts, tricks, jokes, dance, and entertainment with durations from 15 seconds to three minutes.TikTok is an international version of Douyin, which was originally released in the Chinese market in September 2016.TikTok was launched in 2017 for IOS  and Andriod in most markets outside of mainland China. However, it became available worldwide only after merging with another Chinese social media service, Musical.ly, on 2 August 2018. Now, it's known as Tittok.

 Lately, TikTok is becoming a means of prostitution. In the cycle of going viral, some youngsters seem to be behaving in a very arrogant and indigestible manner. Lately, women have become so obsessed with ticking that they do not even hesitate to show off their bodies. They have forgotten Facebook and YouTube because of the ticking.

Even if it is for a gift, some of them are involved in sex work. '

Housewives are spoiling their own housework from their children by enjoying in Tittok while teenagers are spoiling their studies by getting addicted toTittok. Similarly, the news of Tittok coming to life and committing suicide has not come to Nepal since he died in an accident while making TikTok.

Not only sound education but his alertness and dedication too are most required. TikTok is useful for entertainment as well as for time passes. It has also become a platform and a source of information to showcase your talents. The important contribution that  Tittok has made in Nepal is the promotion of Nepali songs and music. TikTok has become a powerful medium for Nepali music. TikTok has attracted the youth towards Nepali original folk music. It is a very pleasant subject for them to turn from foreign songs to Nepali songs and music, especially folk music.

Now many Nepali songs are increasing the views on YouTube from TikTok. TikTok is also passing on some old and classic songs to the younger generation. But despite the good side, voices are being raised that the ticket should be closed.

TikTok has also been banned by our neighboring country India saying that the display of lewd sexual activities has increased. TikTok is currently banned in some other countries. Therefore, it seems necessary for Nepal to take this issue seriously now.
