Braille Textbook Errors Has Been An Issue For Blind Students And Teachers

Jan 13, Kathmandu- Students and teachers at the school level are facing problems after errors are found in a printed Braille textbook for the blind.

Textbooks are printed in Braille for the blind. They read the same textbook by touch. A teacher teaching blind people in a school in Lalitpur said that 50 percent of mistakes were found in Braille textbooks.

According to him, there are many such errors in the textbooks of classes 3 and 4. Meanwhile, Bhaktapur Blind Association President Suresh Raj Bhandari said that old textbooks were distributed to blind students. According to Bhandari, teachers have been complaining about errors in Braille textbooks.

According to him, the word has been distorted somewhere in the book.
