Jan 14, Kathmandu- Microsoft Teams' walkie-talkie feature has been officially made available on iOS and Android mobile devices. With this, users can now use their smartphone or tablet as a walkie-talkie.

Two years after the announcement, Microsoft has unveiled this feature for Team users of Android phones in addition to the iPhone and iPad.

In addition, Microsoft has partnered with Zebra Technologies to add a dedicated push-to-talk button to dozens of Zebra's Android phones. It is also said that this feature can be easily used on dozens of Zebra's Android phones.

This feature is targeted at frontline workers. The company says that there is no need to worry about frequency while using the app and communication with the help of Wi-Fi or cellular network can be done easily anywhere in the world.
