"Karkalo Kokyaula" Against Girl Trafficking Songs Has Made Public

Jan 14, Kathmandu- Famous comedian and singer Hari Bansha Acharya's different style of informative song has been made public during a function held in the capital on Thursday. The song "Karklo Kokyaula Timilai Jhukyaula Bol" has been made public along with the music video. The singer's review officer has accompanied Hari Bansha Acharya in the song which has the same voice, words, and music with the support of Samikshya Adhikari.

The song arranged by Kiran Tuladhar has a message against trafficking in girls. The video of the song directed by Manav Subedi is presented in a narrative style. In the video, Harivbansha Acharya is portrayed as a disabled Gandharva singer while the actress  Swastima Khadka is in the role of a teenager.

According to the story of the video, Swastima who has just completed her school life is initially intimidated by a group of girl traffickers who try to seduce her. After not being intimidated by the study and another secret character of the same group tries to seduce her into a love trap and a gift, get her on a bus and as well as feed her drugs, After that she become make her unconscious and take her abroad for sale.

After getting all these tricks Haribansha who is spreading the message by singing songs against the sale of the girl tries to save her from the group. Haribansha arrives with the police while the group is throwing her out of the bus and negotiating, and she escapes being sold to Swastima. The video stars Mahesh Tripathi, Navin Lamsal, and Ghanshyam Pandey along with Haribansha Acharya and Swastima Khadka. The video shot in Kavre and Dakshinkali has been shot by Sushil Sapkota.

Speaking on the occasion, President of CNN Hero and Maiti Nepal Anuradha Koirala said that the traffickers were preying on the educated teenagers and added that the songs and videos would help in the campaign against trafficking in girls. Inspector-General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri expressed happiness over the fact that the video of the song showed that the police had arrived only after the incident. The video has been made public on Gazzab TV.
