Nepali Student Found Dead In Australia

Jan 17, Kathmandu - In Australia, a Nepali girl was found dead. Sushmita Kapali, 22, was found dead in Lencov, Sydney.

Hailing from Kirtipur, she arrived in Australia in 2020 for study. The incident is being investigated by New South Wales Police. The Non-Resident Nepali Association of New South Wales has begun collecting money through GoFundMe to send the deceased’s body to Nepal.

Bikram Dahal, the association’s youth coordinator, has established a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to send the corpse. The campaign aims to raise $ 10,000. With the family’s permission, the collection of support has begun.

NRNA engineer Uddhav Bhatta, who knew Sushmita well, said that he was surprised by the incident. Bhatta expressed shock at Sushmita’s unexpected death, describing her as a diligent and friendly person.
