Jan 18, Kathmandu- The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that the infection rate will be higher in the fourth week of January.

In today's meeting of the Education and Health Committee under the House of Representatives, the Ministry of Health has estimated that 20,000 people in Nepal might be infected with corona daily in the fourth week of January. Dr. Krishna Prasad Poudel, director of the disease control division of the ministry, said that it is estimated to reach 19,695 daily in the fourth week of January.

The Ministry of Health has projected that 10,000 patients will be admitted to the hospital at that time and 394 of them will become serious. The ministry also estimates that about 15,000 people might be in critical condition in the third wave of the corona.
