I have No Hesitation In Saying That The Number Of Ministries Is Too Large: Pandey

Feb 4, Kathmandu- Bagmati Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey has said that he has no regrets over the division of the ministry.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday on the occasion of the 100th day of the formation of the Pandey-led state government, he made a formal statement on the division of ministries. "We had some problems providing services from the old ministry of the past. Therefore, we have created 14 ministries to make the service effective. Those 14 ministries will work effectively and show it in a short time", He said.

Generally, this period of government formation is termed the honeymoon period. Chief Minister Pandey even claimed that the government under his leadership had done remarkable work in the first 100 days. Making public the achievements of the government, he said that it has played a significant role in empowering the state.

Pandey said that the number of ministries has been increased by making some changes in the rules and regulations of the state government for the economic and social transformation of the state, provision of simple and easy quality services to the citizens, systematic development of infrastructure, and promotion of good governance. He claimed that this would speed up the work of the government and effectively increase capital expenditure and provide easy access to services to the people.
