Feb 12, Kathmandu- Netflix has reached above 203.6 million subscribers worldwide. The achievement comes after Netflix saw spectacular growth in the first half of 2020.

But as it celebrates passing the 200 million subscriber mark, Netflix is also acknowledging that 2021 likely won’t see as many net subscriber gains every quarter, starting in the first quarter of 2021.

Its expanding line-up of TV series and movies continues to captivate people stuck at home during the ongoing battle against the pandemic. Netflix added 8.3 million new users in the last four months of 2021. Money high, sex education and squid games have played a big role in this.

Netflix has more than 5 million subscribers in India. This number is expected to increase further in 2022. To increase its Indian audience, Netflix has slashed its price by up to 60 percent.
