What Is Smart Way To Send SMS?

It also has various features that make it simpler and more attractive. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of Google Messages.

1. Send a message from a web browser

Google Messages is available not only on Android phones but also on web browsers. This is going to be very useful for you.

- Open the browser and click on this link.

- Open Google Messages on mobile.

- Click on the three dots at the top right of the screen and click on the 'Device Pairing' option.

- Click on the QR Code Scanner.

- Scan the given QR code in the browser and send the message from the desktop.

- If you are not using this feature on your personal computer, you can also unpair the device. To do this, click on the three dots that appear on the left side of the computer and click on the 'Unpair' option.

2. Enable RCS feature

The only downside to the SMS and MMS features that we use is the end-to-encryption.

Since last year, Google has also launched RCS (Rich Communication Service Messaging App) in Nepal. This will allow you to keep your conversation safe.

- Open the Messages app and go to Settings and enable the chat feature.

- Verify your phone number. To do this, click on the Verify Your Number option and enter your phone number and click on the 'Verify Now' option on the right side of the screen.

3. Schedule a message

Sometimes you may have to send a message to someone at some point. But we are forgetting. It also misses some important messages. Google has given the option to schedule messages for this.

- Tap Message.

- Long click on the send button.

- Click on 'Pre-Selected Dead End Time' and set the date and time you want.

4. Use bubble chat head

Usually, when a message arrives on a mobile, a notification with a red number appears in the messaging app. But if you want to make your messaging app more appealing, you can use Google Message Cathead.

- Open the message and click on the three dots on the right side of the screen.

- Click Settings.

- Click on the 'Bubbles' option. You can choose to have bubble chat heads in all messages as you wish or only in a few limited messages.

5. Put bubble chat head in limited message

- Open the message you want.

- Click on the three dots at the top right of the screen.

- Click on the Details option.

- Click on the notification option.

- Click on the 'Bubble This Conversation' option

6. Mark important messages

Sometimes some important messages are dropped due to other unnecessary messages. There is also the hassle of searching for such messages when needed.

To address this issue, Google Messages provides marking features.

- Hold important messages for a long time.

- Click on the star button in the popup box.

- Go to the home screen of Google Messages to see the marked message.

- Click on the Start option.

7. Keep a reminder message

If someone has texted you to arrive at a certain time or has given a meeting time and you want to remember that, you can put that message in the reminder.

- Hold the message you want to keep for a long time as a reminder.

- Click on the Reminder button that appears in the popup box.

- Click on Preselected Dead End Time and set the time and date to remind yourself. After doing so, the clock icon will appear in the message with the reminder.

8. Share location

Like other platforms, you can share your location with Google Maps via Google Maps.

- Click on the message with the person who wants to share the location.

- Click on the location by clicking on the plus button that appears on the screen.

- Click on send this location and share your location.

9. Search messages

Sometimes if you have to look for some important message or any other message, you don't have to go to the message and keep scrolling the screen.

For this, you can search for the message by putting the number or word you want to search in the search box at the top of the message.
