Feb 18, Kathmandu- Tension remained in the Baneshwor area till Wednesday afternoon. Shutters closed on Maitighar-Tinkune road, traffic stalled, security forces on one side and protesters on the other.

Speaking on Headline Nepal Bishesh program with Presenter Sanjeb Regmi, Dilliram Khanal became furious while the protesters are trying to break through the restricted area and move towards the Parliament House. When the police tried to stop them and clash broke out. Some have been injured in the clash. The police used tear gas shells, water cannons, and lathi-charge to disperse the crowd.
