Feb 23, Kathmandu- There are differences among the ruling parties over the Province 1 name. In the discussion held at the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers on Tuesday, there was no consensus among the five ruling parties.

Though the leaders of the ruling parties have said that the initial phase of discussion has started, it is clear from their views that the parties have maintained their stand. Though the leaders of all the parties said that they were in favor of party identity, the major parties did not have a clear idea about the name of the state.

He tried to avoid the issue of naming by saying that the nomination should be done by seeking consensus in Golmotal. After the leaders of the ruling party responded in a roundabout way, no one from the opposition party came up with a clear proposal on the name of the state. While the ruling coalition is claiming to have proposed the same name for the state, the leaders of the five parties who spoke at the event on Tuesday expressed their views.
