Mar 01, Kathmandu- Today, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri and Army Day, the Nepal Army is celebrating Army Day with a special program at Tundikhel in Kathmandu.

The Nepal Army has exhibited various types of military skills in the program. President Bidya Devi Bhandari was also present in the program. Since 2047 BS, the Nepal Army has been celebrating Maha Shivratri as Army Day.

Today, the Nepal Army has even extended Maha Shivratri with rifles and cannons. Similarly, the flag of Nepal, the wave, the gathering, the hexagon shape, and the figure of Army Day 2078 were also presented under the enhanced parade. Similarly, various art, dance, and music tunes reflecting the Nepal Army and Nepal's traditional costumes were performed.
