Mar 3, Kathmandu- Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has achieved less than 50 percent progress in most of the projects till the second quarter of FY 2020-21 AD.
For UNESCO, the NEA Commission, Education for All Child Development Program, Food for Education Program, National Examination Board, Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, Teacher Service Commission, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology have not made progress up to 50 percent.
Similarly, Vocational Education and Training Enhancement Project (Second, School Sector Development Program Center, Education, and Human Resource Development Center, Presidential Educational Reform Program, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Medical Education Commission, Higher Education Reform Project, Educational Testing Center, Schools) The progress of teacher book food is less than 50 percent.
According to the second quarterly progress report released by the ministry recently, the training and skills test could not be conducted due to COVID, poorly targeted scholarships could not be distributed, budget and programs were modified and progress could not be made due to completion of the program. The Ministry of Education has provided school education equivalent to 6,422 students from various educational institutions abroad in the second quarter of this fiscal year. It is mentioned in the report that the development work of secondary level curriculum towards technical and vocational stream is in the final stage. Similarly, it has been mentioned that 45.27 percent of the annual target of Janak Shiksha has been completed.
