Mar 3, Kathmandu-  A student organization of the CPN-UML i.e All Nepal National Free Students Union(ANNFSU) has demanded the immediate opening of the lock on the service commission of Tribhuvan University on the basis of negotiations and consensus.

Today, Chairperson Sunita Baral has issued a press release stating that it is an unscientific act of the academic sector to affect the work of the Service Commission by locking it in the name of part-time teachers for fear of open competition.

Part-time professors who have been demanding that they be made permanent by taking separate exams are currently locked up in the Tribhuvan Service Commission. Due to the lockout, the examination scheduled by the Service Commission is in confusion.  ANNFSUsaid the partial professors' locking up of the service commission was anarchy.
