Prakash Saput's new song 'Peer' Trending One On YouTube, Warning To Get Removed

Mar 13, Kathmandu- Singer Prakash Saput's new song 'Peer' has been dragged into controversy.

The song, which is based on the grief of the People's Liberation Army participating in the People's War, has become one of the trending ones on YouTube. However, it is being strongly criticized by the Maoist circles.

The song seeks to convey the message that the lives of some of the ministers, honorables and dignitaries have been changed due to the People's War but the People's Liberation Army of Nepal and the general cadres have not been managed.

Meanwhile, Pancha Singh, chairperson of the CPN-Maoist-affiliated ANNISU-WU Krantikari, has warned Saput to remove the song. She said that if Saput had not publicly apologized and removed the song from YouTube immediately, she would not have tolerated irresponsible behavior.
