Given To The Local Government, Most Of The Work Is Done Well And Quickly: Deuba

Mar 26, Kathmandu- Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that it is necessary to give the responsibility of development to the locals.

Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the completion of the reconstruction of Bhimsen Temple in Lalitpur today, Deuba said that development work should be given to the locals. He said that most of the development work has been completed in a good, fast, and quality manner as the development work has been handed over to the local government.

He said, "It is very important to give responsibility to the locals for the development work. So far good work has been done". Deuba also said that he believed that the development in Lalitpur Metropolitan City would help in broadening the profile of Nepal and Nepalese not only at the national level but also at the international level. The Bhimsen temple was damaged by an earthquake in 1972. The temple was rebuilt with the financial support of local businessmen and donors.
