January 7, Kathmandau- Nepali Congress MP Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi has accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of trying to become Hitler by disobeying the constitution.
Speaking at a meeting of the National Assembly on Thursday, Rayamajhi said that the Prime Minister thought that he would not abide by the constitution and only others should abide by it. "Shouldn't the Prime Minister accept the constitution?" Only other political parties should agree’’, as he said. Who is the prime minister? Is Hitler from this country? Should he be allowed to do what he does? MP Rayamajhi criticized Prime Minister Oli for dissolving parliament unconstitutionally and adding ministers to the already caretaker government.
He also remarked that the prime minister had lost his ability to hold office. Stating that according to the constitution, a prime minister should have a member of parliament, a majority of parliamentarians should support him and his mental condition should be fine, Rayamajhi questioned whether the prime minister who took unconstitutional steps could be said to have lost his mental balance.
"Whether the person doing unconstitutional work can be the prime minister or not," he said. "Whether he has lost his mental balance or not."
Rayamajhi remarked that the government has also discredited the presidency by forcing it to take any step. "He is the chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal. He is a CPN (Maoist) cadre," said Rayamajhi.
He said the government had raised the question of women's inability to work by influencing the president. "But walking on the back of a dictator raises questions about the president," he said.
