Apr 8, Kathmandu- The number of people joining the health insurance program is highest in Province No. 1 and lowest in Madhesh Province.

According to the Health Insurance Board, 37.9 percent of the total population in Province No. 1 has health insurance. In Madhesh Pradesh, only 5.93 percent have health insurance.

Similarly, 19.05 percent in Bagmati, 26.96 percent in Gandaki, and 18.25 percent in Lumbini have health insurance, according to the board.

According to the board, 19.41 percent of people in Karnali and 17.03 percent of people in the far west have health insurance.

This information was given by the board in a discussion with the media on Thursday on the eve of Health Insurance Day-2078 BS.

On the occasion of the completion of the sixth year of the health insurance program, the board is going to celebrate the health insurance day with the slogan 'Your health is our determination'.

The board has stated that there is a program to start online renewal and HIV profiles mobile app service from Friday.
