Truck With Indian Manure Under Control In Rautahat

Apr 11, Kathmandu- Police have seized a truck loaded with Indian manure and pesticides in Rautahat.

The truck was brought under control by a team under the command of DSP Barun Singh of Garuda Area Police Office on the basis of information that a large quantity of manure and pesticides had been smuggled in from India.

According to DSP Singh, 140 bags of Indian DAP fertilizer and eight cartons of pesticides were recovered from the truck (Pradesh 2003001 Kha 3749) seized from Chhedi Chowk Bazaar in Katahariya Municipality

. According to the Area Police Office, Garuda, the truck driver Deepak Chalise of Chandrapur-6 was sent to Gaur District Customs Office on Monday for necessary action. According to a police source, the seized manure and pesticide belonged to Manoj Bij Bhandar at Katahariya-5.
