Apr 22, Kathmandu- CPN (UML) has accused the current government of not taking initiative to return Nepali lands including Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani. Such allegations have been made in the manifesto of the local level election of the public UML on Friday.
Accusing the government of failing to hold meaningful talks with India, the manifesto states that the government has shown "helplessness" by unilaterally building embankments to change the course of the Mahakali, crossing the border, killing Nepali national Jaisingh Dhami, or repeatedly threatening Nepal's independence and self-respect.
