May 1, Kathmandu- On the occasion of International Workers' Day, Morang Industries Association has awarded two workers working in the Sunsari-Morang Industrial Corridor on Sunday.

Draupadi Rai, a woman worker of Himgiri Hygiene Pvt. Ltd. Budhiganga for 25 years and Mahesh Chaudhary working for Jayshree Company for 37 years, have been awarded.

Pradip Murarka, acting chairman of the industry association, honored the two with Rs 11,000 in cash and a letter of appreciation. Murarka emphasized the need for dialogue and co-operation between employers and trade unions to resolve labor issues, as the relationship between workers and employers is like nails and skin.
