May 24, Kathmandu: 67,268 people have applied in the advertisement opened by the Teachers Service Commission for conducting the examination for a secondary level teaching license.
A total of 67,268 students have filled up the examination application form for the teaching permit. The Commission had advertised for filling up the examination application form in single fee till May 12 and for immediate (double) fee till 5th May 19.
In addition, out of the total 67,268 applicants, only 65,170 applicants will be able to appear in the teaching permit examination. The remaining 2,098 students will not be allowed to join the examination. According to the commission, candidates who have filled the application form but have not paid the fee, have only paid half the fee, and failed to fill the form will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Similarly, 10 thousand 94 people have applied in province 1. There are 8,697 applications in Madhesh province, 17,078 in Bagmati province, 5,696 in Gandaki province, 10,962 in Lumbini province, 5,813 in Karnali province, and 6,836 in Far Western Province. The examination is being conducted on July 3 statewide.
