May 25, Kathmandu- Rabindra Mishra, chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, has resigned from his post.

He resigned from the post of party chairperson stating the disappointing result of the party in the local level election held on May 13. He has said that he will remain an ordinary member of the party.

On the social networking site, Facebook, Mishra wrote, "It is a well-known fact that in the local elections of 2022, Bibeksheel Sajha Party had a generally disappointing result. Despite my selfless and sincere efforts for the last five years as the party’s chairman, I would also like to inform you that I have resigned from the post of party chairman on the basis of morality, taking full responsibility for the results of the election”.
