May 28, Kathmandu: Education Development and Coordination Unit(EDCU) Chitwan has directed to implement leave in all schools on Saturdays and Sundays.

The unit has written to the school saying that the decision to implement the leave two days a week was taken at a joint meeting of the local level education chief, Nepal Teachers Federation Chitwan, and Pabson Chitwan.

A joint meeting of the head of the local level education branch, Nepal Teachers Federation Chitwan, and Pabson Chitwan on Thursday decided to conduct classes in the school from 10 am to 4 pm on the same day five days a week.

Similarly, the meeting has also decided to reduce winter, rainy or other holidays to complete the lectures which are not available due to public leave on Sunday.
