Jun 8, Kathmandu- In Darchula, a woman has been killed. Anibha Khadayat, 40, of Shailyashikhar Municipality-1, Baril was killed.

According to Pratik Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, the woman was killed by setting fire to a haystack near her house. He said that the cause of the incident could not be ascertained.

Ward Chairman of Ward No. 1 Bharat Khadayat informed that Khadayat's body was found last night. Her husband had died seven years earlier. Khadayat has two daughters and a son.

Police have arrested locals Birendra Khadayat and Tula Khadayat on suspicion of being involved in the incident. One of the suspects is said to be absconding. DSP Bista has reached the spot to investigate the incident. A team from Police Post Balanch and Area Police Office Gokuleshwor has also reached the spot.
