Jun 9, Kathmandu- US Army Pacific Commanding General Charles A. Flynn has arrived in Kathmandu. General Flynn arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday for a four-day visit to Nepal.
General Flynn arrived in Nepal from Delhi, India, on a special US Army plane. Flynn is scheduled to meet with Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma.
General Flynn arrived in Kathmandu while preparations were being made for the visit of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to the United States.
Although General Flynn was scheduled to meet with high-ranking officials, including the Chief of Army Staff, a possible meeting schedule has not been approved, according to a senior Nepal Army source.
