Jun 16, Kathmandu- Famous television personality Rabi Lamichhane is involved in politics.

After seeing the encouraging presence of independent candidates in the local level elections, Lamichhane got involved in politics with the intention of contesting the federal elections. In a video clip, Lamichhane said that he has been involved in full-time politics since today (Thursday). He has said that he will announce his entire political plan on September 23 from the National Assembly.

He has said in the video clip, "I have become a media person as per my interest. However, fortune made me a politician. From today, I have come to full-time politics, it is not my dream, revolution, rebellion, desire, aspiration, or ambition. Please accept this as a contribution I have made to society. Now my journey has started in politics".
