Jun 18, Kathmandu- The Narayangarh-Mugling road, which has been closed since 11:30 am, has not been reopened yet.

The road has been closed in Ichhakamana Gaupalika Ward No. 6 Charkilo of Chitwan due to a landslide.

According to Narahari Adhikari, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Chitwan, Landslide removal work is underway and it has taken time due to huge landslides.

He said that it would take another hour to open the road. When the road is closed, there is a long queue of vehicles. Passengers have said that the problem has been aggravated due to stopping on the way as well as the hot weather. Roads have been closed due to landslides in this area time and time again. Due to this, the passengers have to come and suffer.
