Jun 19, Kathmandu- In Lamjung, the daughters-in-law who take good care of their elderly mother-in-law are honored.

He was honored at a function organized on the occasion of the ninth general meeting of the senior civil society, Bhote Odar today. Chairman of the society Narayan Bahadur Kunwar said that the daughters-in-law were honored for their good behavior, care, and attention to their elderly in-laws. Among the honorees are Rabikala Adhikari, Madhu Acharya Khanal, and Laxmi Bhujel of Sundar Bazar Municipality-9.

They have been honored with a letter of appreciation and a blanket. Similarly, Purna Kumari Adhikari and Chandri Gurung of Sundarr Bazar Municipality-9 have also been honored by the society. Also, on the occasion of the program, the society has provided 20 blankets, sticks, torch lights, and Chawanprash to 20 elderly people in the age group of 79 to 90 years.
