Jun 22, Kathmandu:  In Vietnam, the price of petroleum products has risen 12 times in six months.

According to officials, prices have risen six times so far in 2022. He said that due to the frequent rise in the price of petroleum products in the world market, the price had to be increased in his own country as well. According to him, the price of petroleum products has gone up three times in just 21 days of this month.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the country has sent the decision to increase the price of petroleum products to the concerned body. At present, the country has only five to seven days' supply of petroleum products for domestic demand, according to government officials.

According to government officials, the price of petroleum products has to be increased to reduce consumption and demand. The Ministry of Finance has proposed to the government to reduce the environmental protection tax to prevent a further rise in the price of petroleum products.
