Five Middlemen Arrested From Bheri Hospital

Jun 29, Kathmandu: Banke police have arrested five middlemen for trying to seduce a patient at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj. DSP Madhusudan Neupan of Banke informed that five people were taken under control after receiving complaints of causing grief to the patients.

DSP Neupane informed that the Bheri Hospital administration had requested the police to operate saying that the middleman was big. He said that they used to take him to his clinic after showing various temptations. At the request of the hospital administration, the police had been monitoring the undesirable activities taking place inside the hospital premises.

According to DSP Neupane, the suspects have been arrested and released on the condition that they do not do so again. As soon as the police stepped up surveillance, they came to the hospital premises and pressured the patient and his relatives to buy and test the medicine from a suitable doctor.
