Jun 29, Kathmandu: Tribhuvan (TU) Teaching Hospital has stated that it has given continuity to the health insurance program. Hospital Information Officer Ram Bikram Adhikari said in a press release that it has been decided to continue health insurance.

Earlier, the hospital had issued a press release on July 17 announcing the postponement of the health insurance program from July 28. The Health Insurance Board has written to the hospital in July 28stating that the process of resolving the problem has already started by holding a meeting of the Health Insurance Board and discussing with the doctors to address the problem related to health insurance as soon as possible.

The hospital has decided to continue the insurance program after the insurance board wrote a letter saying that it would send the insurance amount claimed by the hospital.
