Eleven Players Left The U20 Football Team

Jul 3, Kathmandu- Eleven players of the Nepali U20 men's football team who were in closed training have been dropped. Eleven of the 41 players in closed training for the SAAF U20 Championship and AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers have dropped out.

Meghraj KC, the head coach of the team, has selected 30 players for the second phase of closed training.

In the first match of the SAAF Championship in India, Nepal will face Maldives team on July 25 and the second match will be against Sri Lanka on July 27. Nepal is scheduled to play the third match of the group stage against Bangladesh on August 2.

Similarly, Nepal will play the first match of the Asian Cup qualifiers against Bahrain on September 10, the second match against Qatar on September 12, the third match against Bahrain on September 14, and the last match against Bangladesh on September 18.
