Three Arrested With Pistol And Bullets From Rupandehi

Jul 4, Kathmandu- Rupendehi police have arrested three Indians along with a sharp pistol and two rounds of bullets.

They were arrested by a patrol team under the command of Inspector Yuvraj Jung Karki from Area Police Office, Butwal. The arrested have been identified as Medi Hussain, 34, Akbar Khan, 51, and Asik Ali, 55, of Siddharthnagar in India, according to the District Police Office, Rupendehi.

Police had chased a motorcycle with an Indian number plate from Lumbini Cultural Municipality Ward No. 6 Bus Park at around 8.30 last night. According to the police, during the chase, the motorcycle went out of control and hit the oxen, causing them to fight.

During the investigation, police found a pistol, 2 rounds of bullets, and a knife in a black plastic bag from the right waist belt of 34-year-old motorcyclist Medi Hussain.

According to the District Police Office, Rupendehi, the injured are undergoing treatment at Bhairahawa Medical College under the supervision of the police.
