Move Forward With The Importance Of Cooperation With The Private Sector: Dhakal

Jul 4, Kathmandu- Chandra Prasad Dhakal, senior vice-president of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FNCCI), said that development was possible only with the cooperation of the government and the private sector.

Addressing the newly elected local people's representatives as the chief guest at the program organized by Chandragiri Chamber of Commerce and Industry today, Senior Vice President Dhakal urged the people's representatives to move forward realizing the importance of cooperation with the private sector. Stating that the common goal of both the local government and the private sector is to make the people happy through development and prosperity, he also called for a strong partnership between the state and the private sector.

He said that the people's representatives of the local bodies should compete with each other for development and investment. Dhakal said that the local people's representatives should compete with each other in running as many industries and businesses as possible in their locality, attracting investment and creating employment.
