Share Market NEPSE Fell By 9 Points

Jul 4, Kathmandu- The stock market NEPSE declined on the second day of the week.

The NEPSE index, which rose yesterday (Sunday) on the first day of trading, has dropped by 9.75 points today to 2,076.67 points. At 1:06 pm, the NEPSE index had risen by 62 points to 2148 points. The NEPSE had dropped to 26 points since 3:15 p.m.

But by the time it closed, it had dropped by almost 10 points. Even though NEPSE has declined, the transaction amount has improved a lot. A total of 19 million shares of 234 companies were traded at a value of Rs 4.34 billion. The most traded stocks were Shivam Cement worth Rs 175.8 million and Himalayan Distillery worth Rs 169 million.

Today, shares of Union and GreenLife Hydropower Limited have fallen more than 6 percent. Shares of CYC Nepal Microfinance and Ngadi Group Power have risen 10 percent despite the overall market decline.
