Students Return Home Playing In The Dust In The School With Two Teachers

Jul 4, Kathmandu- The teaching of Bhawani Secondary School in Dhulachaur of Himali Gaonpalika-6 of Bajura has been affected after 11 teachers went on leave at the same time.

Students have complained that eight teachers have not come to school for a month. Three teachers are absent one after the other. The school was reopened on June 3 after the election. However, the students said that eight teachers did not come to the school even for a single day.

Jharilal Yadav, Sarita Sanjayal, Devkanya Bhandari, Karnavir Sarki, Jaglal Sarki, Laxman Pandey, Takan Prasad Pandey and Maina Pandey have not come to school for a month. Similarly, other teachers of the agreement Bhanubhakta Khatri, Rita Neupane, and Sabina Shahi are absent for a while. Only principal Debukumari Malla (permanent) and contract high school teacher Yamlal Timilsina are present in the school.

On the other hand, Prof. Malla has admitted that 11 teachers are on leave. He said that some of the teachers named in the first paper of the Teachers Service Commission are on leave for the preparation of the second paper, some for the examination of the teacher's license, and some for other work. She has also informed that all of them have been on leave verbally.

There are 221 students in the school. Most of the students have dropped out of school as there are no teachers. Most of those who come to school return home after playing in the dust all day.
