Jul 4, Kathmandu- Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma, who returned home after completing his visit to the United States, has been formally welcomed at the battlefield. Though Chief of Army Staff Sharma returned home on Sunday, he was formally welcomed on Monday.

Returning home from a two-week visit to Lebanon, Syria, the United States, and the United Nations headquarters, he was welcomed at the military headquarters on Monday morning with an army guard of honor.

During the visit, Sharma met with officials from the United States Department of Defense and senior US military officials, as well as senior United Nations officials in New York.
