Finance Minister Should Immediately Resigned From Post :Gagan Thapa

Jul 4, Kathmandu: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that Finance Minister Janardan Sharma should resign from his post.

After the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, General Secretary Thapa gave such feedback to the media. He said that Finance Minister Sharma should resign as questions were raised inside and outside the parliament. General Secretary Thapa remarked that if the Finance Minister does not resign voluntarily, Prime Minister Sher Bahadhur Deuba should remove him from office and immediately investigate.

He said the prime minister should take immediate action after the finance ministry said the CCTV footage was only 13 days old. In my understanding, the finance minister should resign now, or the prime minister should remove him now.

This should be investigated immediately. It is said that the tax rate has been manipulated in the budget, but the tax rate is not a normal thing. There is no point in saying that it was a simple human error. ' General Secretary Thapa said that the issue of the lack of CCTV footage of the Ministry of Finance came to the fore. He also said that they had informally asked Finance Minister Sharma to resign.
