Jul 11, Kathmandu- The regulatory Nepal Telecommunication Authority is going to provide training on mobile and computer maintenance in three different places in the country. The NEA is going to conduct such training in collaboration with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
The regulator has just decided the budget and program for the coming Fiscal Year 2079/080. Necessary amendments are yet to be made in the budget that has been passed by the board of directors and reached the ministry.
However, based on the budget passed by the board, training on mobile and computer maintenance will be provided in the coming fiscal year 2079/080. NEA has mentioned that the objective of this program with a budget of Rs. 9 million is to extend technical education to the villages.
It is expected to create employment opportunities through technical education as well as prepare skilled manpower related to information technology in rural areas.
